Unfortunately, the names of international companies, like Gravitas, are often used by scammers to try to extract sensitive information.
If you have received a message on WhatsApp, email or social media, under the premise of a new job, which asks for sensitive personal information, like bank details, please be assured this has not been sent from Gravitas. We will only request this sort of information within our secure onboarding platform after an offer for employment has been made. We never request this information over the phone, SMS, or email.
This malicious activity appears to be generated from phone numbers based in the USA, mostly via WhatsApp, so please again be assured, this has not been sent from anyone in our business as we do not operate in the USA.
Note this is not a Gravitas data breach, and your phone number has not originated from Gravitas. It is an international cyber scam that has been reported to the ICO, targeting a range of people.
