The Opportunity

We're looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Manager to take ownership of a well-established Technology Contract division in our London headquarters.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys making decisions, and wants the freedom to build a business within a business. You'll inherit a strong platform, established client relationships, and a recognised brand, but how you grow the market, develop your team, and expand revenue is ultimately in your hands.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Owning and driving the performance of a Technology Contract business area within the London market.
  • Developing and executing your own growth strategy, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client partnerships.
  • Leading from the front through business development, networking, and market engagement.
  • Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of recruitment consultants.
  • Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Managing team performance across productivity, revenue, and development metrics.
  • Working closely with senior leadership while maintaining the autonomy to make commercial decisions within your market.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Gravitas and championing our core values.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success within a 360 recruitment environment, ideally within Technology Contract recruitment.
  • Experience managing or mentoring consultants and driving team performance.
  • A strong track record of business development and client relationship management.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • A natural leader who enjoys empowering others while maintaining high standards.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to own outcomes rather than simply execute instructions.
  • Ambition to progress into senior leadership and play a key role in the future growth of Gravitas.
