We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing Actuarial Recruitment team in Shenzhen.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established and growing Insurance division, partnering with leading insurers, reinsurers, consulting firms, and financial institutions across China and the wider APAC region. Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate sourcing and qualification through to offer management and successful placement.
- Client partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the insurance and financial services sectors, delivering tailored talent solutions.
- Candidate engagement: Develop long-term relationships with actuarial professionals, providing market insights and career guidance.
- Sales and business development: Identify new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the Actuarial division.
- Market expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the actuarial talent market, including hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Network building: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates within the insurance industry.
Requirements
- Previous recruitment experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong sales, business development, or client-facing experience is highly desirable, preferably with 1-2 years' of previous experience.
- Commercially minded, ambitious, and motivated by success.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work towards and exceed targets.
- Resilient and driven, with a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Passionate about building a long-term career within recruitment.
