What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a Senior Consultant to lead and grow our Data perm market, placing specialist talent across:

• Data Engineering

• Machine Learning Engineering

• Data Science

• MLOps & Cloud Data

• Analytics & BI

• Data Architecture

To excel in this role, you'll bring:

• 2+ years’ consistent perm recruitment billing (data or tech preferred)

• Experience placing mid–senior Data or Engineering roles

• Strong business development skills and confidence opening new accounts

• A consultative, relationship-first approach to perm hiring

• Ability to build and own a niche with autonomy

• Excellent stakeholder management with hiring managers, Heads of Data, CTOs, & Talent Partners

• A commercial mindset and ambition to move into Principal/Leadership

Experience in adjacent markets (Python, Cloud, DevOps, Software Engineering) is an advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and grow a specialist Data perm desk, leveraging warm relationships

• Win new business through networking, outreach, events & market positioning

• Manage full 360 recruitment cycles - briefing, sourcing, interviewing, placement

• Build and nurture a senior-level Data talent community

• Provide market insights, salary benchmarking & strategic hiring advice

• Partner with a high-performing tech team to grow Gravitas’ Data practice

• Drive the brand’s presence within the UK Data & AI recruitment market
