What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a Senior Consultant to lead and expand our Data contract market, covering contractors across:

• Data Engineering

• Data Science & Machine Learning

• Analytics & BI

• MLOps & Cloud Data

• Data Architecture

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in contract or tech recruitment

• A track record of consistent billings, ideally contract-based

• Experience placing data or engineering contractors (or similar software markets)

• Strong business development skills and confidence winning new accounts

• Experience managing contractors and running full compliance processes

• The ability to build and grow a profitable niche with autonomy

• Excellent stakeholder management with senior-level clients & contractors

• A commercial, delivery-driven mindset with leadership ambition

Experience in adjacent markets (Python, Cloud, DevOps, or Software Engineering) is a strong advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• Build & own a 360 Data contract desk, using warm client relationships

• Win new business through outreach, events, networking & market positioning

• Build and manage a high-performing Data contractor community

• Oversee full contractor lifecycle - onboarding, compliance, extensions, renewals

• Partner with hiring managers, Heads of Data, CTOs & tech leaders

• Collaborate with experienced tech recruiters to drive market growth

• Strengthen Gravitas’ brand presence in the UK Data contract space
