What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a Senior Consultant to lead and grow our Python Perm market, placing engineering talent across:

• Python Developers / Backend Engineers

• Django / Flask Engineers

• Machine Learning Engineers

• Data Engineers (Python-focused)

• API / Microservices Developers

• Full-Stack Python specialists

To succeed, you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of consistent perm recruitment billing (tech preferred)

• Experience placing Python engineers or similar software roles

• Strong business development skills and confidence opening new accounts

• Ability to own and grow a profitable niche with autonomy

• Excellent relationship management with senior stakeholders (CTOs, Heads of Engineering, Talent Leads)

• A consultative approach to recruiting, screening, and closing perm hires

• Ambition to step into Principal or leadership positions

Experience in adjacent markets (Data, ML/AI, Golang, or Backend Engineering) is a bonus.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and scale a specialist Python perm desk, supported by warm clients

• Proactively win new business via outreach, networking & thought leadership

• Manage the full 360 perm recruitment cycle - briefs, sourcing, interviews, negotiation

• Build a strong talent network of Python specialists

• Deliver high-quality, consultative recruitment solutions to clients

• Contribute to market insights, salary benchmarking, and niche mapping

• Work closely with the wider tech team to grow Gravitas’ Python market presence
