The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Business Manager (Data Specialist) to take ownership of an established Data contract desk in our Manchester office.
This is a true leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about developing talent, scaling a high-performing team, and driving growth within the Data market.
What You’ll Do
- Lead from the front through business development, client engagement, and networking within the Data space.
- Manage, mentor, and develop consultants from trainee through to senior level.
- Build and expand key client relationships across Data disciplines (e.g., Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, BI).
- Recruit, train, and onboard consultants, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Drive the growth of the Manchester Data function in line with Gravitas’ expansion strategy.
- Champion Gravitas’ core values in all aspects of leadership and delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ 360 recruitment experience, ideally within a Data or Technology vertical.
- Proven experience recruiting Data professionals (e.g., Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, BI Developers).
- Strong track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience managing and developing consultants at different stages of their careers.
- A hands-on leadership approach with a genuine passion for coaching and team development.
- Ambition to progress into Gravitas’ Global Future Leaders programme.
