This is a unique opportunity to focus on permanent technology recruitment within the Insurance industry, leveraging an established client base and working under the leadership of Irene Yang, Insurance Director, one of Hong Kong's most respected Insurance recruitment leaders.
You'll also benefit from the strength and reputation of our established Technology recruitment team, which has spent years building trusted relationships across Banking and Financial Services. This provides a strong platform to develop your own market, create new opportunities, and become a recognised specialist within the Insurance Technology space.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for building and growing a specialist permanent recruitment desk, partnering with insurance organisations ranging from multinational carriers and global brokers to regional insurers and insurtech businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and expanding existing Insurance client relationships.
- Delivering end-to-end permanent technology recruitment assignments.
- Developing new business opportunities across the Insurance market.
- Building specialist talent pools across Software Engineering, Data, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Product, and Technology Leadership disciplines.
- Advising clients on hiring strategies, market trends, and talent availability.
- Working closely with Gravitas' wider Technology and Financial Services teams to maximise cross-market opportunities.
- Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor within the Insurance Technology sector.
What We're Looking For
- Proven recruitment experience with a successful track record in permanent placements.
- Experience recruiting within Technology, Financial Services, Insurance, or a related specialist market.
- Strong business development and stakeholder management skills.
- A consultative and relationship-led approach.
- Ambition to build a market-leading desk within a growing sector.
- Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
